The Naturist Guy campaigns the Body Positive Movement to help put an end to the demanding beauty standards that society imposes on each other. He shares this message with nearly everyone he meets and he accepts his body to the point that he rarely wears any clothing anymore.

“The only time I put something on is when I’m in a public place where I have to be covered or if I’m around others that would feel uncomfortable with me being naked.” M Smit

He is not embarrassed about his body even when he is the only one that isn’t wearing anything even in large social settings.

“I know that living without wearing anything most of the time is not for everyone, but when others see that I’m not uncomfortable being naked around them, it shows them that even though I just have a regular body, I’m not embarrassed about it” M Smit

He also emphasizes the importance of healthy living from a holistic point of view; eating healthy, regular exercise, not hurting the environment or other living beings or things and to always treat others with respect.

“Living as a mammal of nature without the need to wear anything is both liberating and simple, I usually don’t need to worry about what I’m going to wear” M Smit

He is also campaigning to de-sexualise nudity and reverse the damage the stripper industry has brainwashed society into believing that the human body is a sexual object of entertainment, when it is in fact just a vessel for our soul.

“I wish I didn’t even have to own any clothing anymore, but I respect that many are still uncomfortable being around someone else that is naked and therefore I still do own a few items of clothing” M Smit

He also emphasises the importance of not upsetting members of the public and the responsibility each naturist has to follow the laws of the country they live in.

“Whenever I drive somewhere without having or taking any clothing with me I always keep a towel close by so I can cover myself whenever anyone could potentially see me lower than my waist” M Smit

He promotes the importance to be respectful towards others that have different beliefs and lifestyles than they do.

“No one offers meat to a vegan or tells a lady to remove her hijab, this is because people respect their choices and beliefs. When new friends or existing friends tell me they’re fine with me arriving to a party or BBQ without me taking any clothing with me, this shows that they have no hang ups with someone else being naked around them and that they accept me as I am” M Smit

He does not suggest for others to try naturism because everyone is free to chose for themselves what lifestyle they want to live.

“We neither do nor don’t need more naturists, but if more people could accept naturists and learn to be more comfortable that we prefer not to wear any clothing whenever possible, then that would be really nice” M Smit

He admires people that have the maturity to be able to accept that he prefers not to wear anything whenever he can.
